Line 5

The Fatima’s hand or Hamsa (meaning 5 in Arabic, hamesh in hebrew), is a very ancient symbol, older than Judaism and Islam. Regarding archeological proofs suggesting Hamsa preceded the birth of both religions, this symbol could be native of The Punic religions, there it was associated with the Goddess Tanit.

Known as “Hand of God”, it is an ethnic & cultural symbol and its protective power is not to be demonstrated anymore.

Nowadays, that sign corresponding with 2 hands, one above the other, keeps its symbolism of union of culture, subtle protection and oriental beauty.
